In July of 2004, Greenleaf Trust, one of Michigan’s few banks that specialize in wealth management, relocated their offices into 25,000 square feet of newly constructed space in downtown Kalamazoo.

The new facility allows for the integration of all divisions, and also provides clients with state of the art facilities.

The facility was conceived as a warm yet professional environment organized around a central gallery. Two-tone wood was used to highlight office and conference room entrances and a clearstory of glass along the exterior walls allows natural daylight to penetrate into the space. Elements of the building, owned by Greenleaf, are carried into the space in the form of granite columns and ornate metal grilles. In addition, a private elevator was installed to carry staff from the main office up to the boardroom mezzanine.
